The Purpose _
The in-house engineering team at HUNT aimed to create the absolute fastest, no compromise, all-around road race wheelset up to and including 50mm in depth, while optimising for modern width road tyres (28mm and 30mm) and achieving the lowest system weight possible. The Sub50 Limitless takes what we learned from creating our disc-brake wheelset redefining 48 Limitless (34.5mm wide), which when launched in 2019 proved in the wind-tunnel to be the fastest in its category. From that industry leading change others have followed. A further three-year engineering development process has elevated the performance again with the SUB50 Limitless. Offering riders wind tunnel proven best-in-class aerodynamic efficiency and stability, combined with tyre shape optimization, at an impressively low system weight of 1428 grams, the SUB50 Limitless once more sets the standard for all-round road racing wheels.

Limitless Technology
HUNT-patented manufacturing process which utilizes a strip of low-density structural polymer inserted in a molded channel within the rim sidewall with carbon molded over it, allowing for extra width while minimizing material mass.
Front & Rear Specific Rim Design
Through the extensive testing with CFD modeling and Wind Tunnel validation, our engineering team havedeveloped front and rear specific profiles (34.2mm wide by 49.5mm deep front, 30mm wide by 49.5mm deep rear) that maximize aero benefit while minimizing material mass. Wide where it matters, fast everywhere.
H_Ratchet DBL HUBS
Dual-sided ratchet system with 40-tooth drive rings offering 9-degree engagement and 332g weight per set. 6066 aluminum alloy hub shell with extra strong 7075-T6 alloy axle and freehub body. H_Ceramik reinforced coating to protect against gouging.
Wind Tunnel Tested
Developed by HUNT’s in-house engineering team, leveraging CFD analysis and 3D prototyping, along with the proven validation method of wind tunnel testing, the HUNT engineering team has raised the expectation level for aerodynamic efficiency while simultaneously reducing the wheel system weight and increasing responsiveness, creating a world-beating combination of performance attributes.
